As of November 2022, Yad Vashem had recognized 924 Lithuanian citizens as Righteous Among the Nations.
About the Righteous Among the Nations
The title Righteous Among the Nations is awarded by Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center. It recognizes non-Jews who risked their lives to rescue Jews during the Holocaust.
About the project
Our main aim is to keep the memory of the Righteous Among the Nations alive. To achieve this, we mark the graves of Lithuania’s Righteous Among the Nations with a uniform memorial marker.
